Service Technician

We are seeking an individual with experience in maintenance or electro-mechanical
installations.

Full time

Grasbrunn (Munich); Aachen or remote

Your responsibilities

1. Servicing and repairs

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on waste sorting line equipment.

Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to ensure smooth operation.

Perform repairs and replacements of malfunctioning components.

2. Optimization

Analyze the operation of waste sorting lines and identify areas for improvement.

Propose and implement steps to enhance line performance.

Assist the engineering team in integrating technology to improve the processes.

Monitor key components and adjust parameters as needed to achieve goals.

3. Assistance with assembly

Assist in the assembly and startup of new equipment for waste sorting lines.

Collaborate with assembly teams to ensure proper installation and configuration of machinery.

Provide technical support during startup and troubleshoot any issues for smooth operation.

4. Digitalization

Contribute to the development and implementation of digital solutions for data collection from the sorting line.

Collaborate with the digitalization development team to integrate a data capture system from existing systems.

Train operators and maintenance staff.

Your profile

At least a high school diploma in a technical field, such as electrical or mechanical engineering.

Fluent knowledge of German or English (spoken and written); conversational knowledge of Serbian-Croatian language is desirable.

Several years of practical experience in maintenance or electro-mechanical installations is preferred.

Excellent computer skills.

Willingness to engage in fieldwork.

Interest in long-term employment.

Basic understanding of electrical schematics.

Ability to work both in pairs and occasionally independently.

Driver’s license category B.

Strong communication skills and a professional attitude towards business partners and colleagues.
