Sustainability Engineer/Consultant (f/m/d)
Aufgaben:
- Give strategic environmental and sustainability advice across client projects
- Develop ESG strategies and climate protection roadmaps
- Manage sustainable building certification projects for new construction projects and buildings in operation
- Prepare concepts for recycling-friendly, dismantling-friendly and low-emission construction
- Assist in developing bespoke sustainability solutions and strategies as well as conducting sustainability studies
- Participate in ESG Due Diligence
- Provide carbon consulting during design phase and life cycle analysis expertise
Anforderungen:
- A completed degree in engineering, building services engineering or a comparable field of studies
- Interdisciplinary knowledge in the fields of energy planning, energy design, renewable energy, building physics, etc. is part of your expertise
- Professional experience in the above areas including knowledge of current environmental simulation tools and the ability to coordinate with energy modelers are among your skill set
- You can underpin your knowledge by having obtained the LEED AP credential and ideally completed training as an auditor in one of the certification systems (BREEAM, Green Mark, WELL, SLE, etc.)
- A holistic understanding of all aspects of green building and expertise in leading projects through LEED certification
- Good knowledge of the industry and a professional network are part of your assets
- A start-up mindset paired with a pragmatic hands-on approach and flexibility
- Goal-oriented and independent way of working as well as the ability to work in a cross-national team and strong communication skills are among your strengths
- Fluent communication in English comes easy to you
